Celebrating Women’s History Month at Modular International Inc.

There is no better time than Women’s History Month to recognize the advancements being made by women in the lighting industry. From the group, Women in Lighting + Design (WILD), to the female designers, architects, and engineers all over the world who help our communities grow and prosper, the lighting industry is constantly evolving.

Many deserve celebration this Women’s History Month, but Modular International shines the light on our very own, Tracy Kosylo. For more than 25 years, she has been an integral piece to our longevity.

How did you get to your start at Modular International?

“I started at Modular International just after college as part of the order entry and customer service sales team. I was looking for a business administrative position and Modular International seemed to be a great fit. I liked the family feel yet the international stage. During my time at Modular I have had many opportunities and a few different roles, always allowing me to better myself and my career.”

What is the most exciting aspect of working at Modular International?

“The most exciting aspect of working at Modular International is definitely the people that we get to work with every day. Whether it is a longstanding relationship with a lighting designer, someone new to the industry, or even the end user, to have all of these people compliment their spaces with our lights is always so rewarding. I also like to see final installation photos and say those are our lights, we did that.”

What makes Modular International stand out in the industry?

“Modular International stands out in the industry because of the quality, design, function, longevity, and availability of our products. In addition, our customer service and sales teams are second to none.”

We thank you for taking the time to learn more about Tracy this Women’s History Month. Most importantly, we would like to thank Tracy for being one of our brightest fixtures at Modular International Inc.
